With panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Bay of Funchal, Palheiro Village offers villas and apartments within the historic 120-hectare Palheiro Estate on Madeira Island. The estate features an 18-hole golf course, a fitness room, and a spa. Palheiro Village’s elegant accommodation includes modern, fully equipped kitchens and bathrooms with underfloor heating. The villas, some of which have private swimming pools, boast balconies overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Free WiFi is available in all apartments and villas. Guests can choose from a range of dining options, including the estate’s gourmet Oxalis restaurant (Relais & Châteaux), the Garden Tea House, and Vista Balancal Restaurant – Clubhouse, recently awarded the title of "Best Panoramic View in the World." Several local restaurants and a supermarket are also within a five-minute drive. The Palheiro Spa offers beauty treatments and specialised therapies at an additional cost. The spa also features indoor and outdoor pools, a Turkish bath, and a sauna. Guests can explore the botanical gardens, request babysitting services, and access free WiFi in the business centre. A buffet breakfast is available at an extra charge. Car hire and airport shuttle services are available for an additional fee. Madeira Airport is 20 km from Palheiro Village.

The Palheiro Village is a 10 minute drive out of Funchal and the perfect place to enjoy privacy and discreetness. Being a part of a 130 hectare Estate, there is more to the Palheiro Village than just luxury accommodation. Once here you wil discover over 22 km of walking, cycling and running trails, 2 superb restaurants, a world class spa with treatments, na 18 hole golf course with sea views from every hole! Not enough, how about tennis? Too active for your taste? Then just sit back, relax and enjoy the magnificent views from virtually any part of the Estate with a glass of Madeira wine in hand . Don´t forget the Palheiro Gardens topped off with a light lunch in the garden tea house. Just within a 5 minute drive from the Village (lower part of the Estate) you will find a selection of local restaurants, pastry shop and 2 supermarkets. The closest beach is a 6 minute drive away. Once in Funchal, you will be spoiled for choice on restaurants, museums , cultural events and not to forget shopping. Is nature high on your list, how about over 2000km of levadas to choose from?
