Our little house is located in the heart of medieval Silves. Just a couple of minutes walk down cobbled winding streets from the castle, cathedral, and all the bars and restaurants that make Silves such an attractive and vibrant town. Silves is a great place to experience the true Algarve.
We have been living near the small village of São Marcos da Serra since 2022. We love the peace and beauty of the Algarve Serra, and discovering the many hidden treasures of the region.
We have both spent many years traveling and feel that we have finally found a place to call home in the hills of southern Portugal.
Silves has a lot to offer. The beaches and attractions of the Algarve are close by. The town of Silves maintains its authenticity, but still offers a wide array of dining and leisure possibilities. Our house is located in the ancient part, within walking distance of the bustle and activity of the town.
