The property has two Szekler wooden houses, over 100 years old each, completely “reborn”. We offer one of them for guests who appreciate built heritage, nice panorama and organic garden. We tried to preserve folk heritage, adding a vintage touch and using colorful home accessories to offer a warm and homey atmosphere. The 5100 sqm courtyard with huge ancient trees make you will feel like being in a forest. You can rest in a hammock, listen to the bird’s songs and recharge your batteries. The house consists of two sutdio apartments with separate entrances, each including a double bed (140 cm), a sofa bed, a kitchenette, a log burner and private bathroom. Between the two houses there is a terrace, a summer kitchen with barbeque, sink and hot water
We are a couple of freelancers who have recognized that a sustainable future is possible if we move from dependent consumers to responsible producers. Coming from the urban area we have faced many challenges during this transition, but we are enthusiastic to go on this path and invite those interested to experience it. We do ecological gardening, partly grow our own food by providing the plants with the best condition for their development, using natural and biodynamic preparations.
The village is situated 7 km far from Miercurea-Ciuc and 3 km far from the famous pilgrimage place, Sumuleu-Ciuc. People do traditional farming, the cattle herd passes near the fence. Similar to the whole Ciuc-basin it has a stunning landscape, with lots of mineral water springs nearby. The Kissomlyo ski slope is 3 km far and the Harghita-Bai ski-resort is about 25 km far.
