The house is situated in the historical center of Rosia Montana and it had an important role in the community life, being used as a bank, medical center and later on even as a cinema. Today is a heritage building where we preserved the traditional style: the wooden floor, the doors, the windows or the heating with a terracota stove on woods. So if you come in the cold season you will find the room heated but you will have to put woods on the fire or to start a fire inside the stove or to bring woods from outside. All around the house you can find our grandparents' old books, newspapers, magazines, that can be carefully read by the ones curious about them.

I love cycling, biking and old heritage houses like this house that I inherited from my grandmother. I also have a tour guide certificate so I can show you the area in a guided tour and talk about the history of the place, the proposed UNESCO sites or about the Save Rosia Montana campaign and the canadian coorporation who wanted to transform the area in a huge open pit to extract the gold that our mountains still have.

We are situated in the heart of Transylvania - Carpathians mountains - Apuseni area and we wish to make tourism in this mining locality so we prepared our inherited house for touristic accommodation. We also have a web platform that can be accessed at any time from any device connected to internet with hiking and biking trails along the touristic attractions from our area: the Roman Galleris, Pine Lake, Țarinii Lake, Big Lake, the Cârnic Sfinx, the Raven stone, Scărișoara Ice Cave, Detunata basalt peak, Geamăna (the sunken village), the biggest copper Open Pit.
