I’m Elsje from the Netherlands, and since 2019 I’ve been living in beautiful Sweden, fulfilling a dream I’ve had since I was a little girl. Scandinavia has always fascinated me, and after many vacations in Norway, Finland, and Sweden, I felt at home here right away.
When life wasn’t going as I hoped, I stumbled upon a house for sale in Sweden. The idea stuck with me, and I decided to go for it. "If I don’t do it now, I might never do it," I thought. And now, I live here, surrounded by breathtaking nature. Every day, I feel privileged to be here, and my greatest wish is to share this experience with others.

DISCOVER THE BEAUTIFUL NATURE OF HAMMARSTRAND
Hammarstrand is surrounded by breathtaking nature. Thanks to the Swedish 'Allemansrätten' you have free access to forests, lakes and rivers, as long as you respect nature. This makes it an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts. You can walk, cycle, fish, or enjoy organized activities such as bear watching, guided hikes, canoeing, and visiting a moose farm or a husky farm.
SUMMER AND WINTER ACTIVITIES
In summer, Hammarstrand offers a range of outdoor activities. During the winter months the landscape changes into a winter sports paradise. You can ski and snowboard on the nearby ski slope (only a 10-15 minute drive), enjoy an exciting ride on the rodel or snowracer track, cross-country ski on various trails, or take a breathtaking snowshoewalk.
