This mountain lodge-style hotel is on Skalets Torg square, 50 metres from one of Vemdalsskalet Ski Centre’s 10 ski lifts. Facilities include a seasonal restaurant and bar, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Flat-screen TVs, hardwood floors and a seating area are standard at Hovde Hotell. Each room features a modern bathroom with a shower. Vemdalen’s 3 resorts have a combined 35 ski lifts and 58 slopes. Klövsjö-Storhogna and Björnrike are a 20-minute drive away. Ski passes are valid for all 3 resorts and are sold just 15 metres from Hotell Hovde. Hiking and mountain biking trails can be accessed directly outside the property. All meals are served at the in-house Hovde Kitchen & bar. The nearest supermarket is 150 metres away and is open year round. Most local cafés, shops and restaurants are open during winter. Åre-Östersund Airport is less than 2 hours' drive from Hovde Hotell.
