Welcome! I am a tourist guide and available for advice on tourist sightseeing. I am actively involved in local tourism, recreation and voluntary activities. I enjoy working with people of different cultures and honest hearts. I am looking forward to your visit. The accommodation offers you privacy in a beautiful environment and peace for collecting new energy in the surrounding area. It is located on the upper floor of the house, with a separate entrance for the guests. Bike storage and car parking are provided. The kitchen is new and fully equipped, fitted with a dishwasher, cooking hobs, microwave, water heater and toaster. The living room has a large pull-out seating area, flat screen TV, a work desk and a wardrobe. There is a double bed in the bedroom, a sofa and a wardrobe closet. The bathroom is newly renovated, equipped with bath, sink, washing machine and toilet. WiFi is provided in the whole apartment.
Apartment is located on the picturesque hill Kučar, which is an archeological site from the Iron age. Next to the house is the circular learning path Kučar - Kolpa. The surrounding rural area is full of leafy forests and vineyards. The Kolpa river, which is the purest and warmest river in Slovenia, is slowly running directly under the hill. Access to the river is free of charge. By prior arrangement with the owner, it is possible to order a home-made Slovenian breakfast (bread, honey, jam, butter, eggs, tee, coffee) for the short-term guests. Also, by prior arrangement, we served the Belokranjska pogača.
The apartment is situated 400m from the campsite Podzemelj-Bela Krajina. Campsite is located on the bank of the Kolpa river. In the summer months the river temperature is from 24 to 27 degrees. In the autumn and spring months we recommend that you take the time to explore the picturesque cultural landscape, local food and drinks, tourist farms, wine routes, natural and historical treasures. Cycling and hiking is highly recommended. The nearby towns Metlika (6 km) and Črnomelj (10 km) offer you tours of museums, galleries, churches and cultural events. The nearest SPA Resort Dolenjske Toplice is 24 km away.
