This is house of a Winery family. We are adding the tourism to our base activity and will be happy to meet people that will love the country side with vineyards and orchards around. House is in the middle of the peaceful and green area. The apartment has own entrance, outside is a big terrace where you can enjoy open air breakfast, sunbath during the day and a chat with a glass of very good wine in the evening. In surroundings you will find many countryside roads for cycling and exploring the beautiful Istrian landscape.
We are winemakers since many generations. Present owners with long experience in international trade, especially with Sweden, Germany and Italy. We speak Slovenian, English, Italian, German, Romanian, Serbo-Croatian and understand some basic Swedish.
In the wine cellar we have very old wooden barrels, oldest from 1913, still in use.
We will be delighted to taste some of our best wines togehter. Wines you can buy as well directly in the cellar!
After 10 minutes drive you can jump in warm Adriatic sea. There are very interesting areas for snorkling.
Fascinating Mediteranean cities: Koper, Izola, Piran, Trieste. Škocjanske and Postojna caves, Lipizzan horses. Old villages, churches, museums. Istrian charming lanscape for hiking and cycling.
In 1 to 2 hours drive you can visit Ljubljana, Bled and Bohinj lakes, Alps, Isonzo 1st WW front and museums. A bit over 2 hours and you can drink a coffee in Venice.
