Touch the thick stone walls and hear what they will whisper to you. Let the coastal storm and the scent of the sea catch your hair ... Taste the authentic Piran salt, which is still cultivated in the nearby salt pans, as it was centuries ago ... And maybe the smell of lavender mixed with the smell of rosemary and fresh baked fish ...
Before entering the Traditional Piran Studio (TPS), remember that this house was created as the perfect answer to living right by the sea. The old Piran people had good reasons why they built their homes in this way. The cold of Istrian stone has always been softened by warm wood from the Primorska region. The narrow streets are still preventing the excessive heat from invading the dwellings. The once modest life of fishermen and salt marshes here is reflected by the wooden floors. In the renovation of the "TPS", where the basement used to be, and many years ago, the house for pets was given special attention. We have refurbished it in the hope that you will feel comfortable, even if the space is small and needs to be carefully designed and equipped. All in the desire for a carefree guest feel in the heart of Piran- a colorful mosaic of narrow street.
We are a five member young family. We live and work in Koper, 17 km away. Unfortunately, due to family and business responsibilities, we are unable to accept all of our esteemed guests personally, which is why we have automated the check-in and check-in process. During many trips around the world, we looked at the way and culture of renting other accommodations. We are pleased that guests with smiles on their faces spend their holidays with us and are happy to return. Before "TPS" became a hospitable home for you, our esteemed guests, the last resident of this house was Mrs. Ida, who did not have an easy life. Because of the fierce fate, she almost forgot what it is like to have someone to love you and how it is to be able to laugh carelessly. When the hope in her heart had almost died, a turnaround occurred. The set of circumstances wanted the sun, laughter and joy to return to the house. If you want to truly experience our "TPS", remember Mrs. Ide and have as much fun in this house as you can, enjoy yourself, have lots of fun and love as passionately as possible. Because that is what really counts in life. I wish you a pleasant stay in a traditional Piran studio.
