Surrounded by private secure parking and a carefully landscaped garden, the luxuriously furnished and lovingly restored, 131-year-old Villa. Embedded in the sunny clearing of a large forest and surrounded by extensive meadows, it invites you to discover nature and find yourself.

Company information

One of its previous owners was the first photographer in Bled Benedikt Lergetporer. At that time, he opened the first local photographer´s studio in Vila Alice, where his photos of the local people and the beautiful nearby nature were displayed. Lergetporer and his friend Jakob Žumer discovered the breathtaking Vintgar gorge near Bled in year 1891.

Vila Alice is one of the most unique properties in Bled, where the modern design is carefully combined with its 100-year-old original charm. It is situated in the center of Bled and offers a beautiful view on the Bled Lake and the island on one side, while on the other, you can admire the mighty mountain caravan Karavanke and the beautiful Julian alps.

In the following two years they have worked very hard to prepare the gorge for the grand opening to the public in summer 1893.
