I am originally from Jersey, Channel Islands, UK and been living in Koh Phangan for 25 years. I worked as a diving instructor for 20 years, running my own dive center on the island until 2020. These days I run a local boat charter company and have great knowledge of the island and the surrounding waters.

From the villa it is only a 2 min drive (or 5 minute walk) to one of Koh Phangan's longest and most beautiful beaches. Haad Yao, is also known as Long Beach, it is a beautiful, wide, and long stretch of white sand on the northwest coast of Koh Phangan. It's known for its calm, turquoise waters, ideal for swimming and snorkeling. The beach offers a mix of peaceful relaxation and amenities like restaurants, bars, and massage parlors, making it suitable for various travelers.
