This is a traditional Thai style bungalow, with a few modern advances. Focusing on culture, style and integrity of architecture; this home is designed to give an authentic experience, surrounded by natural backdrops of coconut and wildflower fields. We want to enliven the child in everyone, so this bungalow is designed with fun in mind, or in Thai, Snuk :) The bungalow is open studio style, with a kitchen separated with a sliding door & open-air bathroom. The main room offers a double bed, eating area & a playful ladder to a hidden reading nook. The space also features a large tv-projector to watch Netflix or YouTube at night. Because it's a projector, you can mainly only use at night, when it is dark. There is no traditional tv. The property is fully fenced to offer privacy, with an option to explore the shared grounds and ever-evolving gardens. There is only a dirt road to the property, as adventures go, the road is slippery when wet.
Welcome to Thailand! I am happy you are here, in the land of smiles. I am a local Thai woman and have lived in Thailand my whole life.
The road to my home is a little rough. Cars can usually make it, but during rain please be cautious. We are also digging a fence line, so there are a few holes on site. Drive slowly and watch where you step. Also to note, the island is growing and there is construction starting all the time. Watch the roads for sand and drive safely! Enjoy :)
