Company information

Excited to announce we are the new owners of Carpe Diem Guest House as of February 1st 2018. Peter and Aemsira Thorpe. Peter is from Australia and Aemsira is Thai.

Property information

March 2025 Rebuilt rear of main buildings, including; new roof-ceilings in bar , WC and fan room. New facias and eaves. Best part is now I have a proper tool shed. May 2023 we rebuilt our front of house, bar and restaurant roof. After 3 months of hard work our pool has been re painted and looks spectacular. August 2022. New for July 2022 ; Marijuana use is now legal in Thailand and the Thai Pass system has been removed. FYI; All our staff have been triple vaccinated and we follow all government requirements. WE CARE FOR YOUR SAFETY. Wow!! It's been a very busy time at Carpe Diem Guest House. We have finished the 5 new rooms and built steps and a bench seat into the pool. We have also repainted the pool {2019}. There are 2 large shade sails over the pool so now you can sit back and enjoy a nice cold drink from the bar while you are soaking in the pool. All the paths and out buildings have been freshly painted{2019}. The gardens are looking beautiful.

Neighbourhood information

Lonely Beach is one of the best sandy beaches on the island and the whole village is small enough for you to walk anywhere you need . All the facilities are close and handy. There are plenty of bars, restaurants , general stores, laundry services, massage services , souvenir shops, etc,. We can book for you any activity you desire such as snorkeling, diving , fishing, jungle trekking , elephant rides, cooking classes , etc,. OR you can log onto the local do it yourself service at , kohjourney You can even self book your transfers for Bangkok etc,.
