Relax and unwind in the majestic Mountain Spirit Retreat—a 12-acre oasis of total peace and serenity in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas, located just 25 miles from gorgeous Yosemite National Park and nine miles from the Jesse Ross Cabin. This unique and lovely home is full of space for creativity, relaxation, meditation, and exploration. This retreat offers an abundantly stocked kitchen, dining room, large living area with an open fire and wood-burning stove, an office with a library, and a lovely sunroom. The main suite is located on the ground floor with direct access to the sunroom. It has a luxurious en suite bathroom with a shower and spacious jetted tub beneath breathtaking mountain views. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms and one full bathroom as well as a cozy sitting area with a couch. The sunroom leads onto a wonderful outdoor space with two large decks offering vast mountain views. The upper deck has a lounge set where you can dine outside or sit and star gaze under the heavenly night skies –feel free to use the telescope for this! The large lower deck houses two egg chairs, hammocks, and ample space for yoga, meditation, or other activities. Beyond the decks are vegetable gardens, fruit trees, and a large playground with a trampoline and swings. This is an absolute haven for kids and adults! It's a 10-minute walk to the sacred Whiskey Falls, a waterfall that cascades down large granite rock for miles and miles with limitless views and epic swimming holes. This is one of the main attractions for locals. There are also several nearby trails for hiking and bike riding. The home is at 3400 feet in elevation and receives the best of all 4 seasons. Coming with your family? Find something for all ages. Next to the playground nestled into the forest, is a large sandbox with toys as well as 2 swings hanging from the trees. The house is stocked with play areas with books, toys and crafts for any child to get lost in for hours.
