Known as George Washington's hometown and one of the South's Best Cities where brick sidewalks and beautifully restored homes are one of the trademarks of the town. Browse boutiques as you stroll along the King Street mile, lined with 200+ independent shops and restaurants, and see public art at the waterfront -- all 10 minutes away from downtown DC! The area is very walkable so if staying in the Old Town area, a vehicle is not needed. I highly recommend using ride-sharing services to and from DC or any of the surrounding areas, it's much easier and convenient when it comes to parking.
