Kathleen Baxter here - foodie and innkeeper (once a cookbook author, early childhood educator, publisher; now a gardner, ukulele player and house marm). The Baxter House has been welcoming guests for nearly a decade. You are windows for my world... I truly believe the old Irish addage - we live in the shelter of each other. Kerrytown is a novel area, saved by elders who wanted a multi-cultural, multi income, multi-age neighborhood, and succeded. We enjoy having the train station, Kerrytown Concert House, small independent businesses - like Collected Works, Zingerman's, the Peoples Food Coop, and eateries like - Casy's Pub, the Gandy Dancer and the Detroit Street Station a short walk away in our community.
