The summers, you are surrounded by the vibrant greens of towering oaks and pines, and in the fall, the crisp air and the brilliance of bright reds, oranges and yellows is breathtaking. At dusk you’ll hear the sounds of nature and watch lightning bugs flit. Inside, you'll find large windows and natural materials which make you feel like you have burrowed into a truly luxe Treehouse.

Blissful Burrow is located in a quiet gated community, with all paved roads to make trips to town quick and easy – but beyond the gates, all of the natural beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains awaits you.
For the watersports-lovers in your group, the Toccoa and Ocoee rivers, and Lake Blue Ridge, offer an array of activities from white water rafting and kayaking to canoeing, fly-fishing, and leisurely floats. Check out nearby Lake Blue Ridge Marina in Morganton for a full selection of rentals. You’re also welcome to bring your own boat and equipment along, we have parking! And don’t miss the great swimming at Morganton Swim Beach or the Swinging Bridge across the Toccoa River!
Find year-round hiking on the endless nearby trails, including the storied Appalachian Trail. Many of them boast hidden waterfalls - and maybe even Big Foot sightings! Those looking for a truly scenic viewpoint will enjoy Brasstown Bald Mountain, the highest point in 3 states, or a ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, especially in the Fall!
Explore the surrounding charming mountain towns with local wineries and breweries, antique and boutique shopping, river walks, or, seek some indoor thrills at the casino, an hour away.
You’ll find all kinds of dining in the area as well, including Harvest on Main (reservations recommended) and Chester’s in Blue Ridge, or the popular Fish Cove in Morganton, and the many restaurants along the river walk in McCaysville. And don’t miss Mercier Orchards, we love it so much we make sure to go every time we are there to grab amazing bakery items and fresh fruit and have a picnic overlooking their orchard and vineyards.
Note: Apple Season is coming and Fall is an exceptional time of year with beautiful fall foliage and plenty of fall festivals.
