You can ride the Chain Ferry across the Kalamazoo River for a ride -- no motor, just a crank -- and if you ask at the right time, the chief crank will let an assistant help out.
Don't forget to climb Mt. Baldhead to overlook Saugatuck Harbor!
On a rainy day, there are plenty of shops that are child friendly and our neighborhood library is a quaint, relaxing and creative place for all ages.
When you are finishing your vacation, top it off with some ice cream or gelato -- so many excellent places and flavors to choose from. We happen to be next to the Blue Star Café, so you don't have to go far to get your ice cream fix.
