A lakefront dream cabin with 250 feet of waterfront. Enjoy this newly remodeled and newly furnished cabin with a bird's eye view of the expanse of the lake. Situated perched up at the end of the peninsula, it adds privacy and tranquility. Bring your own boat as there is a public boat ramp or rent kayaks that will be delivered straight to the property for your convenience. The cove by the dock adds swimming safety from boats and the gradual decline allows for wading. The water source to the home is from the lake, so guests are to bring their own consumable water.
There are 3 bedrooms that can sleep up to 7 guests. The first bedroom consists of a new pillow-top queen bed, side tables with charger plugs and fresh paint. This room houses the furnace which might be a little loud to some when on. The second bedroom has a new double bed with a single bunk over it with fresh paint. The third bedroom offers a bit of privacy away from the rest of the rooms and maintains its original wood charm with a double bed. The combined living and dining room is graced with new furnishings; dining table and chairs, reclining sofa, and swivel chairs. It is surrounded by a wall of windows to enjoy the spectacular views of the lake and trees like a big hug. The kitchen is newly renovated with white cupboards, double sink, electric stove, oven, and a French door refrigerator. The shower is remodeled with a rain shower head and is located in one of the bedrooms freeing up the restroom for others. The entire house has new luxury vinyl flooring. Twenty five original charming steps from the dirt road leads to the house and the outdoor fire place. Twenty steep steps go down to a look out deck. Thirty steps lead you to the new dock for a refreshing vacation of your dreams. *Note: Due to the property’s steep incline and many steps there is no wheelchair access.
Thank-you for your booking! We are looking forward to having you as a guest at Camp Lake Bear.
We hope you enjoy your stay as you take in the breath taking views and enjoy the lake life.
I have many cherished memories on the lake since I was a child when I went to visit my grandparents who built their family camp on a lake. So it gives me great joy to provide an opportunity for other families to create their own family memories at our camp. As a part of lake life, the home gets the water from the lake, so make sure to bring your own drinking and cooking water. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
We look forward to having you as a guest and hope you enjoy your time at Camp Lake Bear.
