Property information

Visit our newly reimagined farmhouse-style home, formerly the Post Office for the town of Gilboa! Overlooking the reservoir, this spot makes for some gorgeous evening sunsets. Wildlife is common–eagles circling the reservoir or bear and deer roaming the fields. Inside we have custom wooden countertops & an island perfect for dinner/game night! The modernistic living room has a 70” Smart TV + enjoy the warmth from the woodstove. Conveniently located near attractions yet peacefully secluded! THE SPACE: The home is situated directly across from Schoharie Reservoir, with beautiful views and a constant breeze. Catskill Mountains are visible from across the lake! Non-motorized boats are allowed seasonally. The home used to be a US Post Office and has a very quaint character. CLEANING FEE NOTE — Unlike other AirBnbs, we do NOT require guests to clean up, strip beds, clean floors, do laundry, walk out the garbage or do any chores! You are booking this home for a vacation and we want you to enjoy it to the fullest and not worry about extra tasks (this is what your cleaning fee pays for) PARKING: The home has a large paved area for parking (from when it was the town Post Office!) and a patio in front. No cars blocking the road or neighbor's driveway access. INSIDE: Inside is the kitchen and dining area upon walking in, and it has an open layout leading to the living room where you will find the leather sectional and wall mounted Smart TV with the wood stove fireplace underneath (wood only). BEDROOMS/BATHROOMS: On the ground level is the1st bedroom with 1 bed and a bathroom, with white porcelain tile and multi function shower body. Upstairs are 2 more bedrooms one with 2 beds with a Smart TV and one with another bed. There is also a second full bathroom, with white porcelain tile and another multi-function shower body. All beds (4) are Queen size
