New, modern rustic cabin that backs up to Grayson Highlands State Park. Be prepared for stargazing and cool refreshing nights. Minutes from Grayson Highlands State Park and the Creeper Trail. All the modern conveniences in a rural setting.
Currently residing in the Raleigh/Durham area of North Carolina. I am an avid outdoor enthusiast that enjoys spending time with family in the mountains and at the beach. We constructed our cabin in 2019 in the Grayson Highlands area for great get away location. We spend quite a bit of enjoyable time working on the cabin. I’m available at anytime for questions, concerns by phone, text or email.
The cabin is located in the perfect proximity to both Grayson Highlands State Park, the Mount Rogers National Recreation Area, and the Creeper Trail. The cabin is also located within proximity to Lansing, West Jefferson and Damascus. If you are an outdoor enthusiast, this is the great location to get away and enjoying nature while still enjoying the comforts of home. The cabin is located on a state maintained gravel road. An AWD/4WD is not required, but may be needed for the winter weather conditions. The Virginia Department of transportation (VDOT) does a fantastic job of keeping the access to the cabin in good shape. Instructions will be provided if inclement weather is in the forecast of alternative parking locations.
