Aloha,
Jacob here. I have lived in Hawaii for over 10 years, mostly in Puna on Big Island, but moved to O’ahu in March, 2021. I love hosting people from around the world that come to check out the most active volcano on the planet or the Playground of the Pacific, aka, Honolulu. I work full time as a carpenter and realtor. I actively study German and Japanese and love languages. I have enjoyed playing the piano and singing since I was very young. I was a massage therapist for 10 years, and a farmer. I have a strong interest in architecture and agriculture, utility systems, business and engineering. Looking forward to traveling and myself getting massages for a change! I hunger for knowledge, experience and truth. RS-84015
River here. I love plants and animals and have spend countless hours making the Gardens here at Garden of the Phoenix Magical. My dog Bubba is loving and well behaved. I live on site and will be your other point of contact during your stay. Let me know if you need anything or have any questions!

Garden of the Phoenix is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, upstairs unit with a lanai facing State Land, 100s of acres of native Ohia Lehua Forest, the first tree to sprout and grow on fresh lava. It is about 1.5 miles distance to the clothing optional black sand beach known as Kehena where wild dolphins sometimes swim with beach goers and Sundays are drum circles. The neighborhood has a Dark Sky policy to promote star gazing. Uncle Robert’s offers a variety of Farmer’s Markets and evening music with a bar and smoothie shack.
Just built and completed in 2020 by the hosts themselves, the upstairs is completely yours, 2 bedrooms and 1 beautiful bathroom, tastefully furnished, with a lanai facing the backyard gardens and forest. Insulated walls for sound and temperature control with large ceiling fans and vaulted ceilings in every room. Large windows catch the trade winds.
Shared laundry machines and outdoor shower on the ground level lanai with the on-site property manager and long term tenant, who live on the ground floor, with a puppy dog, Bubba. Super friendly born December 2020. Pet friendly house.
