「An amazing place to stay in Nevada City. It was 1 block from the center of the city and it had reserved parking. The house itself was circa late 1800's and the theme was carried throughout the rooms. We spent much time exploring the rooms and...」

「Wow. This place was even better than it's description and photos. Picturesque. To have a balcony with a stream passing by and a close view of the flowing stream from bedroom window was a high point. Really lovely staff, efficient and caring....」
This historical, 4-story 1861 Victorian house, grabs onto the bedrock hillside along the original 49er’s placer gold discovery sites in the region. The property has an additional stand-alone cottage, with 7 dedicated parking spaces situated on approximately 1.85 acres of landscaped grounds with approximately 400ft of creek frontage on Gold Run Creek. The historical 1853 Water Flume that divides the property is a Nevada City Iconic Landmark.
Each of the 5 guest rooms has a private bath with a walk-in shower, fireplace, and flat-panel HDTV. Three rooms have a private deck or balcony overlooking the landscaped yard.
Inn patrons can enjoy ample common areas, including a parlor, large dining room, large deck overlooking the historic Gold Creek and flume with waterfall, outdoor wood burning fire pit and patio along the creek’s edge.
Our inn is an architecturally significant house that is already a City Landmark to the Pine Street Bridge Entry to Downtown. The interior of the inn has been restored and updated with today's modern craftsmanship inspired by local artists.
