Your fully-stocked, pet-friendly retreat near Bass Lake and Whisky Falls and 30 minutes from giant sequoia and the south entrance of Yosemite. It is filled with amenities for families, but also a romantic couple’s retreat. Take pictures with the deer and turkey that roam the property daily. Cozy up around the luxurious fire pit while watching a movie. Explore the unparalleled beauty of Yosemite, take a dip in nearby Bass Lake, or simply curl up in the bathtub with a glass of wine. You're home. The newly remodeled home includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a sunroom which can be used as an extra bedroom. The property has plenty of room for pets to run around! Located on 1.5 acres of land which is filled with old growth pine and fruit trees. Deer and turkey frequent the front yard daily, and you might even catch a glimpse of a bear. There is also a dog run which opens up to over an acre which is completely fenced in.
We love exploring the world together and are excited to share the magic of one of the most beautiful places that we have discovered. When we aren't traveling or hosting, Kristin does educational therapy with students with learning disabilities and Richard delivers radiation therapy to cancer patients. Sitting on over 1 acre of land, Half Dome Home is surrounded by old growth pine and friendly wildlife. It is a peaceful escape from city life. Our property is only accessible by car. Snow chains tires may be needed during certain days of the winter season.
