The Harbor House Inn may look like it was built in 1887, but it was actually constructed in 1987. It blends the conveniences of a conventional hotel with the atmosphere of a traditional country inn. The common areas include a long, wrap-around porch with wicker furniture and a large airy living room.
Each of the 19 bedrooms is not only spacious and distinctive, but also offers its own scenic vista of the harbor area. Nine rooms feature fireplaces and whirlpool baths. Decorating themes range from Victorian to whimsical pastel.
With all its charm, the best is the location which overlooks Grand Haven's historic Lake Michigan harbor.
