Welcome to Wander North Rentals! My husband Mark and I moved to beautiful Leelanau County in the summer of 2016 and we have been falling in love with it every day since. We are so lucky to live in a place surrounded by beautiful lakes, enchanting forests, and beaches that stretch for miles. The best part though, the community of local businesses offering food, drink, and many products all produced in Leelanau County. We cannot wait to share out little slice of heaven with you! Cathead Bay is a place like no other. Located at the tip of the Leelanau Peninsula adjacent to Leelanau State Park, you have direct access to miles of sand dunes to hike and wander behind the house and can walk the beach for miles right in the front yard Please be aware that the home is located on a dirt road. It is maintained by the HOA and does not require four-wheel drive, though it may be helpful if visiting in the winter.
