周辺エリアの情報
The location of this vacation home is absolutely incredible. Harriman Reservoir is a short walk or even shorter drive, with plenty of parking, a ramp to put in the kayaks, charcoal grills, picnic tables, hiking trails, and plenty of grass and beachfront.
Wilmington is a charming Vermont town with tons of great restaurants and bars, a downtown area to walk and explore with artisan and artist shops, a supermarket, all of which is a mere three minutes away by car.
Mount Snow is ten miles away, which means you will not spend your entire vacation in the car going to and from the mountains. Great year-round, there are trails, golfing, zip lining, and of course, skiing and snowboarding.
Berry picking season is from June to October, a real treat for kids and adults alike. Farms in the area are organic and have the freshest produce, eggs, meats, cheeses, and baked goods. You can pair your purchases with a wine or beer tasting set up by our concierge, or pick up a local selection in the nearby shops and stores. Blueberry festivals usually run from late July to early August.
Another great way to support the local economy is by visiting art galleries and shops, perfect for finding that thank you present for a house/pet sitter, or for friends and family who could not make it (sad for them!) Or find that perfect memento for your home or office, a great way to remember the amazing time you had in Vermont!
There is great fishing in the area as well. All fishers over the age of 16 require licenses, and when you pick them up, grab a copy of the Vermont Fish and Game magazine for a great resource on the best places to fish, as well as important information, rules, and regulations.
We know that you will enjoy your stay!
