'The Bailey House' is ideally located steps from the crystal clear waters of Pine Mountain Lake. While the home has a secluded feel, it's near great options for dining like Willard Saloon and Eatery, and the Corner Store and Restaurant. You certainly won't have to travel far for days of fun during your stay in Backus! Just 1 block away you'll find a public boat launch and Rocky Dock park with a playground, picnic area, and swimming beach. Rent a boat and spend the day on the lake fishing for walleye, bass, northern pike, and panfish on the 1,612-acre lake. The kids in your group will like swimming in the water while you grill hamburgers at the picnic area! The Paul Bunyan Trail and Rest stop is a half block from the house and offers 100 miles of paved hiking, biking, rollerblading, and snowmobile trails.
