This restored 1850s log cabin, with two decks, a gazebo and gardens is 1 mile from downtown Weaverville, in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. The rental cabin was remodeled in 2019 with all new appliances, air conditioning, heating and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. The cabin is furnished with antique furniture from the early 1800s. The location is tranquil but also ideal for exploring nearby Weaverville, Asheville, Biltmore, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Mount Mitchell and more.
We love hiking, gardening, antiques and making our guests feel welcome
The property consists of the mid-1800s log cabin (for guests), the 1820s log house (owners private home), gazebo and gardens. The combination of native wildflowers, roses, shrubs, vegetables, herbs, dry stacked traditional rock walls, etc. makes for colorful changing scenery from early spring through fall. The log cabin is situated next door to a historic mill, and it is half a mile from walking trails, pickle ball courts and playground at Lake Louise Park. The cabin is 1 mile from the center of Weaverville, 8 miles from Downtown Asheville, 10 miles from the Biltmore Estate, 15 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, and 35 miles from Mount Mitchell State Park. Options for hiking, biking, fishing, breweries, shopping and more abound. Information about nearby dining, groceries store, rafting/kayaking, day hikes and fishing is available in the cabin.
