This space offers complete tranquility and privacy. The cabin is only fifteen minutes from downtown, but you'll feel like you're on the edge of civilization. Set up your base camp for adventures into the park. Enjoy hiking, mtn. biking, and 4WD driving on the miles of dirt roads that start right at your front door. My place is good for couples and solo adventures. It is set on 2 and a half acres. :)
The property is gated. You can't park on the street, but you can park in front of our walking gate. You can also park in our locked parking gate using the lock box with the key. Please lock the gate when you check out. :)
My place is very quiet. It is surrounded by only a couple of neighbors. Only a block from the house you can be walking or hiking with no view of houses. The house is butted up against a grouping of hills that are a fun hike. This house is approximately two miles down a bumpy dirt road. A Prius can handle it, but it can rattle your car. The house is not located in town. Because we are a little further out, you can really relax and absorb the beauty of the natural environment. Some cellphones can be one spring spotty others work fine. The beds are very comfortable, one has a spring mattress and the other has memory foam. The home has a wall air conditioner/heater unit in the living room. In the summertime we have a filtered and chlorinated cowboy pool to cool off in. Also, we have a lot of yard games. We want you to enjoy the Smart T.V., records, and board games. We now have Starlink Highspeed broadband unlimited internet. Great for streaming and video calls. Hope you have a wonderful visit!

I have a BA degree in Child Development. My passion is creating handmade jewelry and also incorporating aromatherapy into my art. My family and I love Southern California because of the mountains, beaches, and desert. We fell in love with this home because of the solitude, the sunsets, the stars, and the open space. Joshua Tree National Park is so neat to visit because the landscape is like you are on another planet. It is great for photography and my family and friends love to hike, bike, and rock climb inside the park. I really love the town of Joshua Tree because of the laid back vibe and friendly people. I also enjoy eating at the local restaurants. My favorite thing about the town is all the art venues, thrift stores, and antique stores. We hope you have a wonderful and relaxing visit.
There are only a few neighbors near us, however most of them live there full time. Please respect their privacy, however they are very helpful helpful if you need it. It is the perfect combination to feel remote with immediate assistance if needed.
