This woodland property is nestled deep in the Appalachian Mountains surrounded by National Parks. You'll experience all of the privacy and charm of nature with all the modern comforts of home. I run a traditional AirBnB. I invite guests into my home, and try to accommodate them in any way possible. I have one rental property and one event venue. So I devote all of my time to providing an enjoyable experience. I have amenities and/ or guides for groups with children, pets, accessibility needs, eco-friendly travelers, and remote workers. I’m available almost constantly, but respect guest’s’ privacy. I’m a one-woman show! I am normally staying in the guest cottage on the property during bookings. If not, I will have made arrangements with someone close by in case you need help. I personally am available by phone, even when I'm out of town or out on errands. I’m always ready to socialize, but give my guests total privacy unless invited.
New River Gorge National Park, Gauley River National Recreation Area, Babcock State Park, Hawks Nest State Park, and Summersville Lake Recreation Area, host many outdoor activities. Whitewater rafting, rock climbing, zip-lining, horseback riding, mountain biking, biplane rides, scuba diving, ATV riding, and much more awaits the guests of Sweet Retreat! The home is located in a quiet secluded area for relaxing or cutting loose!
