One of my favorite features about this property is the location, we are centrally located to all the attraction in the Holmes County Ohio area. No matter what brings you to the area, its only a short drive away. The property is located off of a small township road in a quiet neighborhood, surrounded by Amish neighbors. The cabin offers a private refuge after a days activity's, whether it be a day of shopping, or a day at the many conventions and events that our local area hosts. We look forward to the privilege of hosting you!
Hello, I’m Lamar, I’ve lived in the Holmes County, Ohio area my entire life. I spent my formative years growing up on a dairy farm just outside of Mt. Hope where we milked around 50 cows. In 2006, Dad was forced to sell the farm due to being injured in an incident on the farm. At that point in time, I was first introduced to the world of hospitality when my parents bought a 46 acre property called Tranquil Acres Cabins, where they have rental cabins. For years I observed them running Tranquil Acres, and occasionally helping with projects that my Dad needed help with, while working other jobs. In more recent years, I have taken a more active role in Tranquil Acres Cabins, as well as now hosting guests here at the Cayo Cabin. The thing I enjoy the most about hospitality is the opportunity to meet great people from other states and even internationally. If there is anything I can do to make your stay better, please let me know! I want to give you a stress free stay.
