I am originally from Montana but love travelling, meeting new people, and learning more about different corners of the world. My passion is restoring old homes in beautiful areas around the country, and I'm excited to share them with you
My girlfriend Jacquie and I will be available 24/7 to answer questions as they come up. We will do our very best to ensure you have the most comfortable stay. We will not be on the property as we travel for our full time jobs
We have provided a house manual to help you navigate through our old and beautiful home, as well as labels around the house to give you a few tips. We think staying in an old house in Maine is all a part of the experience!
The Jarvis Homestead is an easy 5 min walk to the Union River and cute downtown Ellsworth which has great dining (lobster shacks), shopping, breweries, and more. We are also a 5 min drive to several grocery stores and clothing stores.
Escape the crowds of Bar Harbor and come live like a true Mainer in quaint and eclectic Ellsworth! Ellsworth first settled along the Union River by the British in 1763 after the signing of the Treaty of Paris. Today, Ellsworth is a gorgeous, quiet town offering river access, retail shops, restaurants, a public marina, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, two golf courses, movie theaters, an art center and more. It is the quintessential small American town
