This outstanding rental, located near the Eastern Continental Divide, is a favorite for all seasons, but especially perfect for gatherings any time from the early spring flowers until late fall when the leaves are at their showy best. Fill your cup with steaming coffee, put your feet up and enjoy the views from our sweeping farmhouse porch. Whether overlooking the Parkway winding through the woods below or watching deer graze in the meadow, you will find your tensions melt away. Spending time on the large front porch, which looks down on the Blue Ridge Parkway, gets the most mention when the guest talk about what they enjoyed the most. The view across the valley is constantly changing. There are a few homes on the mountain that are occupied on a full time basis. You will find them all friendly folks. You will observe how people live up here, while us "off the mountain" folks try to adjust our calendars to find more time to be able to return.
