The Ricardo mid-century modern vacation rental was once owned by a close friend of Lucille Ball and was Lucy's Palm Springs hideaway. Located near the once popular El Mirador hotel, The Ricardo is a 5-minute drive to downtown Palm Springs. With tall green hedges, amazing mountain views, and zero traffic noise, you can see why Lucy felt a strong sense of privacy and relaxation during her time at the property. Palm Springs City ID #2100
Travis & Andrea here! We want to say hello and welcome! Our primary time is spent working in Orange County, CA, but absolutely love spending time in Palm Springs with our young kids. We love to travel and let our kids experience new parts of the world. We hope you enjoy our pad as much as we do!
A small neighborhood and one of Palm Springs oldest, El Mirador is named for the famous hotel that once defined Palm Springs glitz and glamor. The hotel is gone and has been replaced by the Desert Regional Medical Center, which rebuilt the hotel’s iconic tower. El Mirador is an eclectic mix of old homes dating back to the glory days of the hotel, more modern, Spanish style homes, plus several apartments and condos, and some first-class hotels and restaurants along North Indian Canyon Drive.
