WELCOME to our 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom one-story home where a nice clean room is ready for you in a friendly, walkable neighborhood called Tierrasanta. We are Bob and Donna, a married couple. Bob is a San Diego native and would be happy to discuss local attractions with you for the asking. From our home you will have quick entry onto freeways 15, 52, & 163. We are walking distance to pizza and sushi restaurants, a pub, and Vons supermarket. FRAGRANCE: We ask for no fragrance such as perfume or cologne inside the house as Donna is allergic. Please inquire if you are not sure. SHOES: We have a shoes-off house. You are welcome to leave your shoes at the front door. RESIDENT CATS: We have two friendly, happy cats - a short hair and a medium hair. If you dislike cats or are afraid of them, please do not stay here. We aim for all our guests to be comfortable. The cat bowls are located on the peninsula (secondary counter) because Donna had a previous back injury and is not routinely bending down to the floor. Occasionally you may find the cats napping on the peninsula. If you wish to give the cats(s) a treat, see Donna. Please do not share your own food with them. NON SMOKING: We are a non-smoking household inside and outside. EATING/DRINKING AREAS: We ask that all eating/drinking be done at the dining room table, counter, or back patio. PARKING: There is plenty of Free Street Parking. We do not live on a street corner, but we want you know there is a new California law that does not allow parking within 20 feet of a street corner. UNREGISTERED GUESTS: No unregistered guests are allowed. IDENTIFICATION: For safety and security, we reserve the right to request a photo ID after booking. Thank you!

Donna was a primary school educator for many years. Bob is a semi-retired lawyer. We now enjoy hosting our Guests who stay with us in our happy home.

Our home is the single-family home portion of Tierrasanta known as Villa Monserate. Tierrasanta is a residential community in San Diego, California, known for its extensive open spaces, including Mission Trails Regional Park, and a blend of housing options like single-family homes, townhouses, and apartments. The area is a haven for outdoor activities, with residents enjoying hiking and biking in the numerous canyon systems. For nearby hiking and walking exercise: (1) There are 111 steps (Stairway to Hell) leading straight up to the schoolyard around the corner from our house. It’s like a Stairmaster as you are climbing: (2) There is a short hiking trail at the end of our street, Carioca Ct.
