The property has abundant outdoor spaces including a huge back deck under towering oaks, front courtyard under 200 year old pecan trees, covered cedar beam pergola, an in-ground pool and new poolside bathroom/changing area. The name was derived from the area’s heritage oak trees, some more than 200 years old, which can be seen along Williamson Creek, in some of the pocket parks that dot the area or in Windmill Run Park and Convict Hill Quarry Park.
