Escape to a romantic getaway for two! This cabin is tucked into a quiet wood just 3.5 miles from Mena, AR, on a paved road. The open floor plan invites you to cozy up by the electric fireplace, cook a meal, or snuggle in bed.
The queen size canopy bed is on the ground floor while 2 twin beds are tucked upstairs in an open loft.
The quaint kitchen has a cooktop, convection oven, microwave, and full-size refrigerator along with other typical amenities.
Relax in the large two-person jacuzzi tub after a long day on the trails. A separate shower is also available. Towels, wash cloths, shampoo, and body wash are also provided. If you prefer a bar of soap though, I have locally made goats milk soap available for purchase in the cabin!
The living room provides a nice place to watch a movie (DVDs provided), read a book, or work on your laptop. In a separate sitting room, equipped with a queen size, Lazy Boy sleeper sofa, is the perfect place to play a game or just sit and visit.
Outside you will find a medium size deck with table and chairs for sitting under the stars on fall nights. A small yard, gas grill, and fire pit are perfect for summer vacations.

Only 3.5 miles from the small town of Mena, Arkansas, on paved road. It is known for its friendly people and southern hometown charm. There are coffee shops, antiques and craft malls, art galleries, ax throwing, Frisbee golf/golf courses, tennis/basketball courts, free splash pads for the kids, hiking and biking trails, and lakes nearby to fish in.
Home to Rich Mountain Community College, Queen Wilhelmina State Park, and the Mena Municipal Airport where you can learn to fly at Runway Aviation or book a scenic flight. Here in Mena there is always something fun to do in the great outdoors!
You may even ride your ATVs straight from your cabin to the west and south trailheads of the popular Wolf Pen Gap trails. Riding on paved roads, only 6 miles to one and 9 to the other. Or take the dirt road Polk 402, just a few hundred feet from your cabin if you are feeling adventurous. The paved county road is good for biking, hiking, or just a leisurely stroll after supper to enjoy nature.
We are also 5.5 miles from CMA headquarters in Hatfield, Arkansas and 13 miles to Queen Wilhelmina State Park.
If you have a larger group, you are within walking distance of Sunny Brook Cabin and the Maple Glen and Shady Oaks Luxury RVs.
