I just retired from nearly 20 years as a environmental geologist where I successfully helped our Fortune 100 clients satisfactorily return their impacted properties to future re-use. I am a passionate horse trainer in dressage and am planning a training facility here at Yale Manor at Copper Beeches as our next phase of construction.

Our neighbors are simply the best, friendliest, most helpful, funloving lake folks we could ever hope to find - they have assisted us in our ambitious journey into innkeeping with grace and efficiency. Make sure you wave at the dock and you will have warm welcomes back. Our local Amish population thrills me with four-horse driving teams on the main and side roads around the countryside and our property was a 365 acre apple juice farm that founded the Seneca Apple Juice company in the early 1900s. We honor their entrepreneurial spirit and the woman who made it all possible and oversaw the estate and the building of the Manor House and it's juice business while she ran investment banks and finally became the first woman to be appointed as director to a major NY bank (the Corn Exchange Bank in NYC). She rests peacefully amongst her suffragette forebears in Seneca Falls where the National Women's Rights Museum celebrates the women who fought for the right to vote over a 70 year period. I feel their spirit in the air here at Yale Manor at Copper Beeches and their story inspires my innkeeping.
