Our home is a warm, welcoming, and spacious place to stay. We've combined traditional elements with a modern touch to help our guests feel comfortable in Meo Vac's rural environment. Our living spaces are cozy and clean, and we work hard to welcome you into our family life, most importantly through our traditional Vietnamese family style dinners. They're absolutely delicious! We run Little Yên's Homestay to fund our local education initiatives, which support the children in our community with free English classes taught by our volunteers in Meo Vac town. We are always looking for volunteers who have experience teaching English as a second language and love working with children. It's a great opportunity for anyone who wants to spend more time in Northern Vietnam's unique mountainous region, and Meo Vac is a great place to learn more about the culture of the 22 different ethnic minority groups native to this area. We are happy to provide free accommodation and food for all volunteers during their stay of 4 weeks or more. Contact us if you are interested!
Yên is a friendly, welcoming host, who will work hard to ensure you have the most positive, memorable experience while in Meo Vac. When Yên isn't running the homestay or developing new education initiatives, she likes to spend time outside watching the clouds move among the mountains and enjoys watching Chinese soap operas, but her true passion is supporting the local children of Meo Vac in their educational pursuits. The never-ending trails and chances for new adventures will truly excite you here. After a long day of exploring, you can be assured that you'll have a soft pillow to sleep on at night. Only a short walk from the famous Ma Pi Leng pass, Little Yên's homestay is situated among the most spectacular scenery in the Vietnam. The turquoise water of the Nho Que River makes the towering hills even more impressive, and the dizzying rice terraces create endless panoramas unlike any other place in the world. Whether you are on a motorcycle trip through Ha Giang, opted to take the bus here, or are looking for some incredible trekking, Meo Vac is a great town to use as your home base for adventure.
