Welcome to Jaymy Beach Fales as we are a locally, family owned accommodation provider that is located at Saleapaga Village on the Southern East coast of Upolu Island. Our traditional Samoan Beach Fales are open styled, traditionally built with local materials and resources.
Staying in fale accommodation is the perfect way to experience fa’a Samoa - the Samoan way of life - as Samoans have for thousands of years. This laidback style of accommodation gets you as close to the ocean as it is possible to lay down your head and means that the soundtrack to your sleep is the hush of the ocean . . . And not only is a fale an experience that should not be missed, it’s more often than not a budget-friendly option, with reasonable prices and often breakfast included.
Apart from the laidback style of accommodation, we provide island tours, village walking tours, and on-site cultural activities where we demonstrate umu cooking (old ways of cooking using hot rocks), coconut cream demonstration, Koko Samoa demonstration, weaving baskets, and other cultural activities to learn more about the faa-Samoa - or the way of the Samoan life.
My name is Perelini and my wife Valasi and I are the proud owners of our small, family accommodation business. My team consists of me, my wife, daughter Geneva, son Jaymy, mother in law Sime, and the many other family members from our village. We enjoy hosting because as Samoans, we were born and raised to be hospitable to our visitors. This is why we took on the roll to be an accommodation provider. We enjoy seeing our guests be happy with our services and it's a great way to promote our beautiful island and Samoan culture.
Our village of Saleapaga is ravishing, with a background that has a stunning and scenic mountain view. Surrounded by lush, the intake of fresh air is great for your health. Elderlies that's visited from overseas have commented that they feel much better here because of the fresh air. We also have a crystal, clear blue color ocean where it's great for snorkeling and swimming depending on the tide. We are close to the famous swimming hole Tosua Ocean Trench and the mesmerizing Vavau Beach.
