Amakhosi Safari Lodge is nestled at the banks of KwaZulu Natal’s Mkuze River. The luxury lodge is surrounded by a private game reserve and offers spa facilities and an outdoor pool.
With modern African decor and a private deck with river views, the suites feature high ceiling windows and indulgent bathrooms. They are equipped with air conditioning, a minibar and tea-and-coffee making facilities. There is also a private holiday home with plunge pool situated up the river.
Amakhosi's main lodge boasts a deck with an intimate bar, lounge area, a swimming pool and dining area where meals are served under the stars. With panoramic river views, guests can unwind at Amakhosi River SPA, which offers beauty and message treatments, using eco-friendly and holistic products.
Guests can go on early morning and late afternoon safaris with experiences guides. Walking safaris, as well as birding tours can also be arranged and from November until the end of February, the lodge organizes nightly frogging safaris.
