Two of the first-floor bedrooms (Nr 1. "Family Room with Sea View" & Nr 2. "Double Room with Sea View") are both ocean facing with direct line-of-sight sea views, each with its own private external bathroom (not shared with anyone else). A communal kitchen is available to these aforementioned two rooms. Room 1 & Room 2 have access to essential dishware and cutlery in the communal kitchen, for self catering purposes. Bedroom Nr 3. is a "Double Room with Private Bathroom" and has no sea view, with an en-suite bathroom inside the bedroom. Room 3 is equipped with its own essential dishware and cutlery for self catering.
On foot, the beach is only 100m away. Please note that:

Double Room with Private Bathroom" booking; since It has its own kitchenette featuring a bar fridge, microwave oven and kettle. Just the bedroom with its en-suite and kitchenette is solely rented out in case of Room No 3.

. . . . . . (6) The bathrooms (bath/shower and toilet) of the "Family Room with Sea View" (Bedroom Nr 1.) & the "Double Room with Sea View" (Bedroom Nr 2.) are both located outside the bedrooms respectively and each has exclusive keys to their separate PRIVATE EXTERNAL bathrooms, inside the flat.
The owner encourages the enjoyment of the nearby nature scenes, the seaside and the local attractions. As a keen runner he likes to hike and cycle, enjoys travelling and loves the outdoors, especially the beach front with its relative warmer sea water and countryside activities. He also promotes energy efficiency and sustainability, hence the evident in the smart home technologies such as automated lighting systems in some areas of the apartment. The host hopes guests enjoy the uninterrupted sea views over False Bay ocean, up to the distant Cape Point, as well as spotting its flashing lighthouse during night time, all from the comfort of the two first floor sea facing bedrooms.
Although the Beach is in full view from 2 of the 3 bedrooms and only 100m away, the host makes guests aware of the off-site, indoor Olympic size, heated swimming pool that is located next to the nearby Pavilion in Beach Road. Both are within a few minutes walk from the accommodation. The swimming pool is open right through the year.
The "Family Room" & "Double Room", are one of the relatively few with stunning sea facing ocean and beach views, respectively in this neighbourhood. Strand is a beach town about 30 minutes drive from Cape Town International Airport, with one of the most beautiful beaches in South Africa. The long beach has lots of open sand for beach walking, sunbathing and swimming in the warmer False Bay sea water. Attractions right on our doorstep, includes walking or cycling on the beach, hiking in the country side and mountains, exploring the multiple wine farms and restaurants and a variety of water sports such as surfing, canoeing, kayaking and swimming in the sea or frequenting in the nearby year-long accessible heated swimming pool in Beach Road etc. Besides the tranquil beach scenery, the neighbourhood also has its natural beauty such as the nearby mountains, as well as False Bay, the well-known part of the ocean with its breath taking sea views over the bay, up to the well-known landmark, Cape Point. Some of the flashing lighthouses opposite the bay, can be seen from 2 bedrooms, during night time. The neighbourhood also boasts a fish market at the popular promenade, availing the catch of the day from the local fishermen or fresh fish directly from the incoming boats. Although Strand with its cosy shops, supermarkets and laid-back beach lifestyle has a small-town, country-side living feeling. Somerset Mall plus its business centre is nearby. It has one of the warmer sea water beaches in the Cape Town region. Shops, restaurants. pubs, the public swimming pool and Strand Pavilion are all within 5 minutes walk from the accommodation. The off-site, indoor Olympic size heated swimming pool is conveniently located next to the nearby Pavilion in Beach Road. You can take a walk on Strand Main Beach and to nearby nature reserves, parks, rivers, dams and bird sanctuaries or visit the nearby wine farm estates. The Beach is only 100m away, in full view from 2 of the 3 bedrooms.
