You will be hosted by Paul & Loraine Bewsher as well as Lyle and Michelle Bewsher and their lovely daughter, Hailey, owners of In the End and GoSlow. Our small farm, centrally located in the heritage village of Stanford, established in 2017, is a shared inter-generational space. Although we have been involved for the past 30 years and are all still actively working in the adventure, travel, culinary and conservation fields worldwide and in Southern Africa, Stanford is our home and base because of the lifestyle it affords us – a lifestyle we would like to share with you, even if only for a brief stay. Paul and our son Lyle are both keen chefs: long table, slow food meals can be booked with them. We host standing 'decisionless' breakfasts from 9-12am every Wendesday morning and dinners every mid-month Wednesday evening.

‘Die Ruskamer’, a free-standing cottage, forms part of a working village farm, ‘In the End’, with main residence, vineyard, orchard, and kitchen garden – inspired by the agriturismo and slow food concept. It consists of two bedrooms and a central open plan kitchen/ dining/ living area and fireplace. Each bedroom has a king size bed that can be configured into single beds with integrated bathrooms with hanging space for clothes. Open air braai facilities and seating are offered for alfresco dining as well as a fire pit for enjoying late night chats around a fire. Essentials include towels, linen and toilet paper and wifi is available. Although not covered, safe parking is available on the premises. With dogs on the property, it is ideally suited for dog lovers but not for small children between 2-7 years. Pets are thus not allowed. A bakery is operated from the main property and guests are welcome to book meals but this needs to be arranged ahead of time. Pre-cooked meals can also be provided for enjoyment at the cottage.
