These are open- plan units where the sleep, living and dining areas are not private.
Please note that these units are NOT Self-Catering as the units do NOT have fully equipped kitchens, only kitchenettes equipped with the basics- kettle, microwave and refrigerator.
Each unit however has a braai area, and restaurants are walking distance from our establishment.
The units are spacious but basic. All linen and towels are provided.
Guests that would like to cook will need to use the communal area and there may be a cleaning/service fee charged for the use of this area.
Kaapschehoop does not receive any municipal services therefore all waste, sewerage and water supply are provided by your host - please use it sparingly. We have a closed septic tank system and therefore kindly ask that no non-biodegradable items be disposed of in the drains or toilets.
Water comes from a borehole and is gravity fed, therefor we do not have strong water pressure like in cities.
We are also very dependent on the Service providers of the Cell phone towers and Fibre for the efficiency of Connectivity and Streaming - Please take note that due to the remoteness of Kaapschehoop , these services are unstable and unreliable.
Guests visiting Kaapsche Draai usually come to relax, enjoy the nature and get away from the City... we are informing you about the challenges we have with services in order to manage your expectations.
