Laguna La Crete is a very popular family holiday resort located right next to the beautiful Uvongo beach with its famous gorge and waterfall. The resort offers direct access to the beach and lagoon, and has excellent security, with an access-controlled boom gate and 24/7 security presence and patrolling. There are several communal BBQ areas as well as a tennis court and swimming pool. Cage diving, fishing and many golf courses are available in the area, Wild Coast Casino and water park is 30mins away. Both our units were recently refurbished with modern furniture and fittings. #74 is on the top floor, while #90 is a ground floor unit; both have stunning views over the Uvongo gorge, lagoon and beach. Both units offer: 3 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms Maximum of 8 guests Free DSTV and Wifi Linen + towels Camp cot + high chair Dishwasher Washing machine Coolerboxes Fans + aircon Spacious patio, accessible from the lounge or main bedroom, with 8-seater dining, gas BBQ, patio suite + 2 sun loungers, breathtaking sunrises and views 1 Covered parking + additional (not covered) + trailer parking - all free
I went to Uvongo for a short holiday after an absence of 28 years, and fell in love with its raw beauty, as did my young daughter - you might spot her in some of the pics. Laguna la Crete, the resort our units are in, is positioned perfectly, right on the edge of the cliffs overlooking this stunning waterfall, gorge, lagoon and beach. Now striving to offer our guests a great experience, with exceptional value and personal, hands-on service.
All year round great sub-tropical weather. Plentiful nightlife with Margate 3km to the south. Five fantastic golf courses within 40km. Great for diving enthusiasts with Protea Banks 15 mins away and Aliwal Shoal 30mins away. Deep-sea fishing easily accessible. Wild Coast Casino and Water Park only 30km away. Extreme sports available at Oribi Gorge, 1hr away.
