Sea Park village is wedged between Southport and Umtentweni near Port Shepstone on the South Coast of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. Sea Park is rated the best fishing beach along the lower South Coast, with Garrick being the most common catch and provides the promise of a beautiful unspoilt beach, warm water and tropical evenings. Sea Park Beach is in close proximity to restaurants, shopping malls and golf courses. This long stretch of sand is lined by indigenous vegetation and is a beautiful setting for that romantic picnic or walk on the beach. Neighbouring Umtentweni lies at the mouth of the Mtentweni River, has a beautiful calm lagoon and protected tidal pool perfect for swimming, whilst Port Shepstone, the South Coast’s largest town, is just 5km further down the coast. One of the highlights of staying at Sea Park is close proximity of the Oribi Gorge Nature Reserve. One of South Africa’s most spectacular gorges, which is 24 kilometers long and about 400 meters deep. Its beauty is encapsulated in forests, cliffs, rivers and ravines that not only provide some incredible photo moments and many amazing hiking trails.
