Wagendrift Lodge farm with only self-catering units has a typical Karoo farm atmosphere and is suitable for all guests who love farm life or are looking for a farm getaway. It is a very quiet area and nature lovers, cyclists, joggers and hikers thoroughly enjoy the area. Children can play around carefree or ride their bikes around the farm. There is no cell phone reception or internet. Nature lovers enjoy the wildlife on the farm and the giraffes provide great pleasure to hikers and runners. 4x4 routes can be tackled at your own risk with your own 4x4 vehicles. Clear clean air provides great enjoyment to stargazers. Those who want to break away to a quiet and peaceful farm environment to re-create new courage for the busy days will greatly benefit from a visit to Wagendrift Lodge farm. Typical of Karoo weather, it is very hot during the summer months. Guests in the lodge rooms can cool off in the pool and guests of the 3 detached cottages can cool off in a typical round cement farm dam next to the cottages suitable for swimming during the summer months.
Guests to please remember to bring swimming towels, sunblock, own food, all drinks, coffee, tea, milk ext. and drinking water.
