Quiet area, the hotel is a 1 minute walk from the U-bahn station. The buliding looks new, room and bathroom were modern and clean. There was perfect silence during the night despite my rooom was facing to the street, which is not busy at all anyway. Breakfast is served from early in the morning, with a varied selection. This accomodation is a perfect starting point for visiting the sights of Berlin.

This Berlin Ibis hotel has a 24-hour mini shop and free internet terminal in the lobby. The Residenzstraße Underground Station, with direct city centre links, is 300 metres away. From the warm welcome from the friendly staff at check in, to the kind words for my onward travel from the lady who helped at check out, everything was perfect! While the hotel is a little dated in some places, it was extremely clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful, not a huge choice but more than enough to satisfy all appetites, and the staff in the restaurant so very helpful and cheerful. There are a number of restaurants within easy walking distance, and transport links into the centre of Berlin close by, maps and advice are available from reception. Would I stay again? Without a doubt, yes ...
