The Ibis Budget Salford Quays is a 5min walk from Media City, approx 10min walk to Old Trafford, and there are tram connections next door to it (approx 10-15mins to city centre). Perfect location for football, cricket, gigs at the Victoria Warehouse, and trips into the city.

We had a practical and comfortable stay at ibis budget near the airport. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was very convenient for our travel needs. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Room felt fresh, and once I got the lights on it was quite cosy. A simple uncomplicated room, even the air con/heating was easy to use. The shower was superb, & shower gel/ handwash smelt divine. Will look forward to using this Ibis Budget again - however hope this new hotel is properly maintained & doesn't become tatty like many budget lodgings do.

The room was very small, but clean and comfy, just what you expect of Ibis Budget. Salford Quays is a beautiful part of Manchester and it has a very easy access to the city centre.

Value for money and location were perfect. Room are the same in every ibis budget.

Everything was fine. It's classic Ibis budget, so you know what to expect. The room was clean. The staff were friendly and we could leave the luggage before check-in at 15:00. The early check-in from 9:00 is also possible if there is a free room and you pay 10 GBP. It is in perfect position for the Manchester City game, there is a bus station in front of the hotel, but the bus never came :D It was just a 25 minute walk to the Etihad Stadium. It is 15 minutes away of the train station.

Like all airport located hotels, the Ibis Budget is perfect for its proximity to Manchester Airport, particularly Terminal 2 which is just across the road. It is very easy to access Terminal 1 as well using the Sky bridge / walkway. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Ibis is beside the Holiday Inn which has a lovely restaurant if you don't want to walk too far. Of course the Ibis also has some dining options and a bar.
